The biggest issue here is the edit button doesn’t always allow you to edit. That’s about it. On my computer the browser loads a little slowly on this site but I always just assume that’s on my end.

One work around when the message being edited come up blank.

Cancel edit.
Copy all text from post to edit.
Edit. Get blank.
Paste. Make changes.
Save changes.

A little clunky, but usable.

Edit works until it doesn’t. I had to edit a post multiple times in this week’s mafia game. For the first day or so, it would show text to edit. Then, it stopped giving me text to edit and I had to copy / paste from a quote (to preserve formatting).
