So we are looking at 2 top 15 picks for the 2024 MLB draft....very possibly top 10.
Hartle was a bit more of a Wildcard in terms of where he is picked. If he adds more velo he's top 20 IMO.You might be sleeping on Hartle, @Haros
Right now Hartle doesn't have triple digit velocity on his fastball. That seems to be something scouts look for. If he shows great command of multiple types of pitches, that changes their thinking. You might be sleeping on Hartle, @Haros
I hope so! If expecting him to be a 1st round pick is sleeping on him we are likely to be incredible. You might be sleeping on Hartle, @Haros
guessing that's a Saturday nowThe first Hartle day can't get here soon enough.
I'm buying Hartle stock. He's shown success developing his game and has been in the program for a while.Right now Hartle doesn't have triple digit velocity on his fastball. That seems to be something scouts look for. If he shows great command of multiple types of pitches, that changes their thinking.
Thoughts and prayers to batting orders throughout these united states of america.Man, splitting up Burns and Massey with Hartle will be nasty.
Don't forget that once you're done facing Hartle/Burns/Massey, you get to face Cole Roland in the 9th.Man, splitting up Burns and Massey with Hartle will be nasty.
Does he have upper 90s velo?Right now Hartle doesn't have triple digit velocity on his fastball. That seems to be something scouts look for. If he shows great command of multiple types of pitches, that changes their thinking.
I don't think so. 93/94-ish?Does he have upper 90s velo?
Low 90's. More velo separation between his fastball and breaking stuff would be nice.Does he have upper 90s velo?
Drinkowitz!!Corona to Mizzou is really interesting. I imagine there is quite the story behind that
Ariola. And some of the rising sophs who didn't see much playing time may breakout with more opportunity.I think the biggest question mark now for the pitching is who is stepping up and chewing up innings 5-8? Two frosh should pitch in there. Ray will be big there as well - think I'm missing somebody else off the top of my head.
