The ball was in the air for a long time on the cross that lead to their first goal. IMO it should have been dealt with before the attacker had a chance to get a head on it.

Is this the Columbia announcing crew btw?

They keep talking up Columbia's 12G/5A forward and not even mentioning Bakero with 14G/14A.
 
Definitely need to come out and score quickly in the second half. Absolutely don't want to let an underdog hang around and for god's sake please don't let this go to the crapshoot of PKs.
 
If you hate soccer, this game isn't going to do much to change your mind.
 
This is what teams do against us. Nobody in the country can beat us in an open game, so of course they're gonna park the bus.
 
Announcers are giving Columbia a hell of a lot of credit for simply parking a bus in front of goal.
 
The ability and incentive to park the bus is a pretty frustrating thing about soccer.
 
It's like watching a boxing match where a hopelessly outmatched fighter just clinches the entire time. There's no real fight.

Of course, boxing matches don't end in something as stupid as PK's to decide a tie.
 
I love that everyone calls it "parking the bus" these days when that wasn't even a saying ~15 years ago.

Nah, just judges that randomly decide the winner instead.
 
I love when announcers sound like biographers. No one really cares where an Ivy League backup midfielder played youth soccer. Especially in the context of explaining what just happened in the game.
