There is no small irony in this post. The Smuggles who'd rather talk about follicular tactile insecurity, or [insert Loathe-porn du jour here], rather than epidemics with measurable harm, are the heroes you say? We're in here talking about hair. I don't claim to have all the answers, but I do have an Answer.

I'm supposed to be epistemic and empathetic, and we're in here talking about hair. I mean, listen, we're talking about hair. Not an education! Not a career! Not a healthy family! We're talking about hair. Not providing for your family; not raising your children that we'd all go out there and die for and love every child like she's our own, not your families, we're talking about hair, man. I mean, how silly is that? We're talking about hair. I know I'm supposed to epistemic, I know I'm supposed to empathize by example, I know that. And I'm not shoving it aside like it don't mean anything. I know it's important. I do. I honestly do. But we're talking about hair, man. What are we talking about? Hair? Yes. Clearly if you think people should make their lives better, that is implied consent for other people to touch their hair. I don't see any way around it.
