You are delusional if u think we are done with bz. We need to take out the acc tourny ad so he (bz and Wellman) knows how we feel. Clearly it wont make a difference with the powers but we should make year 5 a year of misery just as he has provided our bball program.
I'm sure that Bz and Wellman currently have no idea how we feel.
I'm sure that Bz and Wellman currently have no idea how we feel.
How about we cool it with the ads. Those just make us look crazy. Let's stick to the shitty attendance / low donations / general on-court humiliation thing and go from there.
BREAKING: Employee Thinks Fellow Employee in Same Profession Judged by Same Standards Should Keep JobVanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings spoke up in support of an in-state rival on Thursday, saying Tennessee fans who want the university to fire coach Cuonzo Martin are "idiots."
Tennessee (17-11, 8-7 SEC) is at risk of missing the NCAA tournament for the third straight year since Martin started as coach, putting him on the hot seat as the Vols enter their final three games, including against Stallings' Commodores on Saturday.
"I think for people to speculate on his job is absurd," Stallings said Thursday before practice, according to The Tennessean.
The Volunteers, who played in the NIT the past two years, are currently among the "last four in" the NCAA tournament field, according to ESPN's Joe Lunardi's Bracketology.
Martin took over for Bruce Pearl, whose three-year suspension for lying to the NCAA has nearly expired. An online petition calling for Tennessee to rehire Pearl has more than 29,000 signatures.
I hope Bz gets hired by Tennessee next year. Watching their fans react to him would be great...and we know he wouldn't buy an orange tie.
The NCAA should hire Buzz when we release him in a month.
If a school violates policies which are not quite seen as a lack of institutional control however are still severe, they would be mandated with X number of years of [Redacted] based on their offense.
He would technically be brought in to correct the "culture" of misguided teams. A secondary effect would be complete sucking, destruction and dismantling of the basketball program as additional punishment.
Imagine the torture the fanbases would have to go through. The blowout losses, the press conferences, the interviews. In a lot of ways it may be worse than the death penalty.
Mark Emmert definitely needs to consider this.
