So I get that he pretty much raked the dudes leg with his studs. But the French guy slid under him.

I mean maybe I saw it wrong but the French dude was guy going for tackle

They both went for the tackle, but Valencia jumped into the tackle studs first, high enough that they went over the ball. That's how legs get broken.

He shouldn't even be starting for France.

I am not saying it wasnt dangerous.

But Valencia's foot hit ball first. The force of Digne's tackle then knocked Valenicas foot off of ball. He shouldnt have gone in studs up. But I dont think it was as dangerous as it looked live
