Survival and Pick 'Em Games 2015 (Week 3 reset for Survival)

I'm struggling with this one. I don't trust New Orleans, so I'm leaning towards Seattle on the road on Monday night.

One of my almost absolute rules is never to take a road team. I'm going with N'awleans this week. I tend to believe in must wins, and that's a must win for them. Tampa just isn't a good team - they were gifted that win last week - though I do think they're better off with Glennon at QB. A couple of others to think about this week are the Iggles at home over a QB-less Rams team and Detroit at home against Buffalo. I don't trust Detroit, especially with Buffalo making a QB change. But I'm tempted to switch to Philly. They're coming off a tough road loss where the O sucked. I can't see Chip Kelly losing that 1.

I am thinking about taking a road team for the first time this week- Seattle. I don't trust New Orleans.

We're down to 160 teams. The Steelers losing took out 30 people. As tough as this week is, I could see losing 25-40 people again.

I tend to stay away from prime-time games, particularly Monday night games. Home teams always get up for those and often play above they're usual grade. That said, Seattle should - *SHOULD* - handle the 'skins pretty easily. If - IF - I were still playing, I like the Philly/St. Louis, or Green Bay/Minn, or Detroit/Buffalo matchups better.

I cannot think of a team that shits the bed more on primetime tv in the past ten years than Washington (save the division championship game against Dallas in 2012).

Washington Primetime games in last two seasons alone:

Thu, Sep 25 vs New York L 45-14
Sun, Dec 1 vs New York L 24-17
Mon, Nov 25 vs San Francisco L 27-6
Thu, Nov 7 @ Minnesota L 34-27
Sun, Oct 13 @ Dallas L 31-16
Mon, Sep 9 vs Philadelphia L 33-27

After what the Giants did to Washington, I'd think Seattle would be a good pick. Then again, the Bills-Bears game took me out in week one.

Before looking at lines, I picked DET, but after seeing the lines and this post, I am changing to NOS. Why did I click on this thread? :D

So I had a 14 point week last week in Pick 'Em and followed it up with a 5 point week this week. Lol, wtf?

And a few more of you dropped out of the Survivor. Only 13 left. Nawlins is getting an awful lot of love this week considering they've played like shit so far. Seems like there are better options out there. But what do I know? I'm sitting on the sidelines.

Lost my lead in pick'em this past week. Going with Detroit on survival.

I've having a terrible year with Pick Em this year. I just have no feel. I put too much emphasis on the first week and on how well the teams played last year. I won my Pick Em league last year, and am second to last right now.

It's going to be interesting to see the spread of picks in ours this week. We went with Seattle (league rules exempt Thursday games. I would have picked Green Bay otherwise).

I'm in the SuperContest in Vegas for the first time this year and it seem like it's been a pretty tough season for everyone so far. Lot of fun but hard as hell.

Huge spread in our pool this week. Four teams with 20 or more picks. Two more with over a dozen.

So I'm between Cincy over Carolina and Seattle over Dallas this week. I don't trust a beat up Zona at home. And though I almost never take a road team, Denver over the Jets would be inviting if there were no good home favorites this week. I think Cincy bounces back in a big way after a horrid performance in NE, and I see Cam struggling against that defense with his lack of mobility, weapons and a good OL. OTOH, I just can't see Dallas hanging with Seattle up in Seattle. And there are games I'd certainly like to use both later on, so really torn.

Seattle scares me after last night. They relax too much in games.

Right now I might have them second or third:

Denver
San Diego/Seattle

San Diego may be ready for a clunker.

We only lost 12 players last week. Had Tampa Bay not choked 38 more would have been out. We are at 148 (instead of 110).

Going Cinci x 2 + Seattle. I still have all 3 of my picks alive. 125 total out of 405 still in...

I was stressing a little over Seattle last night. I've already used Denver and SD so I'm struggling with whether to go with Arizona at home or maybe Green Bay on the road vs Miami.

Luckily, we can take a team as many times as we like.

Have you used Cincy yet? Zona is a bit of a MASH unit, though so is Washington. Washington can put some points on the board and are 1 of the most dangerous 1 win teams out there. I'd feel better about GB because Miami is a mess.

Haven't used Cincy but I feel kinda bad taking them over Carolina.
