Go back and read my post a few weeks ago. Buzz is gone. How could anyone even debate that he will be gone?
Guys, PLEASE stop discussing whether or not Buzz will continue as coach. It's a complete waste of time. It is absurd to even consider that he will be our coach next season. Maybe move into debating who will be our next coach. But it's pointless to discuss Buzz anymore. Just pointless. He is gone.

Any possibility that CD is leaving because he knows that we are trying to recruit a post grad. big man and that that plus the youth movement spells doom for his pt?
It would be almost funny to see the mood of the boards change if it were announced that such a big man is indeed coming.
Will not be the coach at Wake past mid-season next season.
I still just can't believe there is debate about how long Buzz will be our coach. There is absolute ZERO chance he is coaching Wake beyond next season. ZERO. How could anyone possibly think there is even a slight chance Buzz will work out? He will be let go after this season, or more likely sometime during the season next year. He might - might - make it through the final game of next season. But beyond that? Absolutely absurd. What is the percentage of coaches in the last 10 years who have had this abysmal of a start with a good program and lasted beyond 3 years? In fact, there might not even be an example that compares it's so bad relative to the program he was handed. You mean to tell me there are poeple who actually think that Wellman still believes he made the right choice?
Look back and you will see that I also have said this. This is absolutely correct and I don't want to reveal how I know it to be the truth. Many of you will remember my post saying so. Wellman has been completely infatuated with Buzz since the loss to Air Force years ago. Just absolutely infatuated. Like some high school crush that he had to satisfy.
The result was that very soon after he made the hire Wellman knew he had made a mistake. Ron Wellman is highly intelligent. Like anyone, he can and did make a mistake and he knew it and believe me he knows it now. Believe that.
Wtf? Lol.
For whatever reason, publicly backing or expressing confidence in someone even though you don't actually feel that way is acceptable to even the most ethical. You're saying nice things and doing what's best for the program that particular day. As I said, he's smart and for Gods sake of course he knows he made a mistake hiring Buzz. He's certainly smart enough to avoid standing up before the fanbase midseason and telling them that Buzz is doing a bad job and the future sucks with him.
It's absolutely absurd to think that a grown man could watch our program closely the last couple years and think there's even the slightest of chances that Buzz will work out.
The ACC USED to be THE destination for a basketball coach. Every coach wanted to coach in the ACC. Not so anymore, so you don't get the studs. Of course, Wake got a dud.
I hope this sources are clueless:

My Sources has also confirmed to me that Head Coach Jeff [Redacted]'s job is NOT in jeopardy. An official release will be sent out momentarily.
