Freeman keeps mashing.
Why do I always stay up late to eventually watch us lose
I've been to a couple of games this season and feel like with the impending move the whole experience was just kind of meh.
Planned on going last week when the Nats were in town since I haven't seen them this season but couldn't find the motivation to get to Turner Field despite seeing it from my office.
The never heard of's are better than the Beckham, Pierzynski, Francoeur, O'Flaherty's we keep running out there to keep pace on the number 1 pick. Shae Simmons has been off the DL for over a week. Why is he not in Atlanta?
Is there a home run #1 pick for this next draft like Harper or Strasburg?
I've read no but there are people on this thread that know a lot more than me about amateur prospects.
do the best players usually go #1 (or top couple) anyway? drafts are funny and I don't completely understand them yet.
Our last #1 before Dansby (which doesnt really count bc trade) was Chipper Jones in 1990.
There are some busts but #1 is usually pretty cant miss bros.

JUp, David Price, Strasburg, Harper, Josh Hamilton, Carlos Correra, Joe Mauer, ARod were all #1
And only 1, #1 overal pick has ever made the HOF.
I don't mean "how often does the best player pan out?" I mean "how often does the best player go #1?" I know the MLB draft is a different animal than the NBA or NFL.
