I just read Braces' spewing on the premium board. The vomit coming out of her mouth is nauseating. 81 and Deman are just as ridiculous in their defenses of BzzzSuck as well.

The quotes are hilarious. Have you ever seen a bunch of quotes like that surrounding the hiring of a coach? As bad as our AD has been, they did a HELL of a PR job to go out and get those quotes in order to make an unimaginable hire at least appear to have a tiny bit of legitimacy (until Bzz actually had to coach at least). Someone spent a lot of time on the phone and called in a lot of damn favors to get that many people to approve a bunch of PR BS.
 
I don't think I voted in that poll, but I think somewhere I said that around 17 wins would be decent this year given that you can't count on freshmen game in and game out, because their nature is to be inconsistent. But having watched the games so far this season, the young kids are a lot better than I thought they would be.

I'm BuzzOut, but I still think some of the blame does have to go to CJ and Travis so far. No matter what the coaching has been like, and whether or not they've "checked out" of what Bzzz is trying to do, there's no reason two guys of their caliber shouldn't be able to essentially take over games against lesser opponents. Or at least not totally disappear. Frankly, their play at times has reminded me of some of Teague's less than stellar moments in the second half of the Cleveland State year.

Seven games, I still have no idea. The ACC is pretty weak so we could actually find some momentum in 2013 and win some games. That could be tricky as then we could finish with 15 or 16 wins and a little momentum and it would be harder to fire Bzd. But just a guess and I have no idea.

The poll I did to fuck around. I have never written anything about actually predicting the 18 wins I think Bzd needs to save his job

I read that and figured he had to be a parody poster. I mean, "get ready for the BUZZSaw"? But based on other posts I now think he really is just a super enthusiastic fan. Also, Braces kind of took a shot at Skip:
Skip Prosser used to say that the teams that consistently win are the ones with more NBA-potential talent on them. We didn't exactly do well in post season play when we had a lot of talent under Skip and were ranked #1.

Braces is a HUGE Wellman fan. I think that's where a lot of her support for Bz comes from- an inability to admit Wellman showed gross incompetence/arrogance throughout the process, from how the dismissal of Gaudio was handled to the hiring of Bz.

I think I probably voted somewhere near 15 wins, if I voted. Looking at the schedule, I see 3-4 more possible wins in the OOC schedule, which would bring us to 7-8 before the new 18-game ACC schedule starts. That would require at least at 7-11 record in ACC play, which is absolutely not happening. Even if lightning strikes, I think we'll be lucky to get to 4 wins in the ACC. That leaves us with 10-11 wins on the year. Excuse me while I go slam my head in a car door.

Definitely not a parody. You know exactly who he is if you've been to a football game the last 5-6 years.
