Where does last night rank on the list of Bz failures/embarrassments?

The world is gray. Not black or white.

I'm afraid in these trying times, you're either BuzzOut or BuzzIn... Seriously, what is there to wait and see about?

Most BuzzOut still cheer for our team, so let's nip that straw man in the bud. I might be in the minority here, but bad losses still ruin my night...

As ridiculous as it sounds, I was more worried about what the UVA and BC wins would mean more than I am bothered by the Clemson or Duke loss.

I am glad i went to the gym and worked out for 45 minutes and missed the whole thing.

"Well, we may be losing by 20 points, but I sure like the culture I'm seeing out on that court."

People don't appreciate just how hard it is to establish a losing culture at a place like Wake.

Well, we've got 14 acc games left. I like how the team is playing, even last night. We had two steals at the end of the first half by Moto and Madison and missed both layups. Those layups would have drawn us under 10, I think. McKie was forcing it at the beginning of the 2nd half and CJ wasn't being aggressive enough, but they were bumping him around a lot. It's a road ACC game. You got to fight through that. We weren't physical enough and we couldn't hit shots. Simple as that. The physicality should be taught and practiced and for the most part, it has. We were way more physical than BC and about even with Virginia.

I forget what it feels like to be disappointed in a loss. Losing a road game to Clemson 4 years ago would have ruined my whole fucking night. Now, i just check the score and :rulz:

Only 4 years ago tomorrow, #2 Wake Forest went to Littlejohn and beat #10 Clemson 78-68.

I was 10 rows up in the Clemson student section for that game. The angle on the Aminu dunk does not do it justice; the replay does a better job but damn he lifted off for that one.

I think this is all Hatch and Wellman is doing whatever is asked of him to save his job and keep his bag of a wife in furs.

The simplest explanation.

I think Hatch is more involved in the decisions affecting the athletic programs than many people initially believe. I place much of the fault for our depressing state of athletics with Wellman, but Hatch's hands are not clean by any means. Hatch often gets overlooked because he's not the one in front of the press or the fans fielding questions about our teams and talking about the direction in which we're going with athletics--it's quite lucky for him.

Hatch came to Wake with his own agenda, and I don't think it was limited only to academics, faculty, the endowment and facilities. Coming from Notre Dame, I think athletics was very much a part of his agenda.

Wellman still sucks, but I'm not stopping there. Hatch sucks too.

I've said it before that the worst part of Bzzzz is he's made it not hurt anymore. I'm happy when we win, but when we lose, I just shrug.

Just a short note to say that, whatever the state of Wake hoops, it is always a pleasure to scroll down and spend a few moments being mesmerized by bym's avatar. Thanks, bym, for your service to Wake fans everywhere.

Yeah, but you'd think that would make him want us to be good.

I've got a good question, let's list the top 20 worst Wake Forest basketball games any of us can remember and let's see how many of those that Bzzz was the head coach?

I think any list of the all-time worst defeats has to start with Butler, since it was the NCAA tournament. The Cleveland State loss under Dino was pretty bad. I know we got destroyed by Kentucky a couple of times in the NCAA tourney, but those were against great Kentucky teams, so I don't think those are top 20. Others?

In case anyone was wondering, buzzy makes love worse than he coaches. His O face, it's not a pretty sight.

If you have knowledge of some illicit activity that would hasten the departure of our enlightened one, please advise. Would be much better if you had similar activities with RW...
