Devin Thomas

Hey putz...tell the person who started this diversion and the others who posted before I did the same thing...do it to each of them...

I'm positive you were the only person talking off topic.

Not reading the entire thread, but his improvement has been ridiculous. His stat line last night was ridiculous, yet somehow his play was even better.

An interesting five for next year would be:

Devin
Cav
Moto
Tree
Codi

Tree, Cav and Devin would give us incredible interior passing.

With Tree and on the wings, we'd have the best wing D in very long time. It could overcome not having a banger with Devin.

Tree could handle the ball, let Codi spot up on the wing, Cav on the other side and Moto slashing.

The motion and Tree's size should keep Devin from be doubled on every possession.

This lineup would be really good at PnR defense.

Also having Moto on one side and Tree on the other, there won't be a whole lot of lanes for the other team to get the ball inside.

On offense, we should tell Codi to shoot at least 16-20 times a game. Moto sets picks and rolls to the hoop for passes or offensive rebounds. This would create lots of space for Devin.

We should do at least 10 PnR with Codi and Devin each half. It's unguardable.

In his defense, he never said that was a starting 5. He said it was an interesting line up, and it is!

isn't Travis only a junior? Cav over him seems laughable

That group could play the 10 mpg that Travis doesn't play and when he's in foul trouble.

The PnR with Devin and Codi might be even more effective with Travis on the court to create space.

Arguing about lineups for next year, decisions that you have zero power to make and zero people care about, is yet another example of a thread Hijack.. Way to go Matlock.. Keep up the good work.

Devin has more upside that Johnson, Teague or AFA. When he can score moving to his right with his right hand, develops the mid-range jumper futher and improves his free throw shooting he is a lottery pick (well, scouts might not even care about the free throws). That is a lot to work on but he has all the tools. He already is an amazing rebounder and passer. That alone gets him to the NBA. Devin is the kid the team should be built around because his intensity is off the charts. He runs the court, dives for loose balls, is fearless against older players, listens to his coaches... I could go on. We watched a real coming out party. And having said all that... he's no longer off the radar and teams are going to force him to the right and he's going to struggle to score in future games. But that is not going to keep him off the glass.

Is Devin actually his listed 6 ft 9?

Interesting to see Cliff Robinson so high on the scoring list. And Terry Cummings was always solid for Fantasy teams. And how could I forget about Tom Chambers!!

Glen Rice played the 3 right? Never thought he was this high on the list. Man he played for some shitty teams until he ended up on the 2000 LA Lakers.

21. Kevin Garnett 24872
24. Dirk Nowitzki 24342
25. Charles Barkley* 23757
29. Tim Duncan 23292
38. Bob Pettit* 20880
41. Tom Chambers 20049
45. Clifford Robinson 19591
47. Antawn Jamison 19507
48. Terry Cummings 19460
57. Bob McAdoo* 18787

61. Glen Rice 18336

Your list is a little outdated my friend. TD is 24 now.

Love Devin, but I respectfully disagree with most of this.
