BZZ Out Rumor

I'm sure the board is sick and tired of having people in their ears to fire [Redacted].

Can the board make the next coaching hire while they're at it? Hire apetit as a consultant perhaps?
 
i dont want all these rumors coming out now, i feel like they will jinx it or somehow cause it to not happen. MAKE IT STOP
 
If we are cleaning house, I sure hope that the BoT has a primary candidate for AD in mind. The prime time to hire a new HC is either during or just after the NCAA tournament.


Change in AD has implications for football as well; but that's another subject.

Lets give credit where credit is due....this all came about because of the threat of numerous toilets being left in the Joel parking lot.

Well, if it's true that the BOT and Hatch went over Wellman on this one, I have a feeling Ronnie ain't much longer at Wake Forest. His credibility will have been shot to hell.

Under normal circumstances I would agree with you. But I think there's some truth to the rumor that three years ago good coaches were not willing to work for RW and that's the reason we ended up with Buzz. I think seeing Mr. Wellman cut down to size makes the job much more attractive.

Homie, we are not winning any ACC tourney lol. I don't see how we can beat Maryland and even if we did, Duke will promptly skull fuck us 12 hours later. Again, I don't know if the rumor is true, but if it is, then I don't see any scenario where he pulls a rabbit out of his hat. We are 30 minutes from the Joel tonight but with the lack of mental toughness BZZ instills, we might as well be playing in Fallujah.

I always have a funny feeling like we could pull tonights game out like we did with Miami. But even if this happens, order will be restored as a BZZ coached team will be a BZZ coached team: we will lose the following evening by 40 to Duke on National Television.

of course they do. it's shaka's former AD at VCU. i am blanking on his name and which job he took but since i don't have a source for mu declaration it does not really matter.

I just can't imagine a situation where you would stay on at your job if you were publicly overridden by your bosses on a job that you were hired to complete. You lose all credibility and it's a slap in the face. Plus we know that Ron Wellman is a proud man.
 
even if we beat Maryland tonight (which I think has a good chance of happening and for CJ's sake, I hope it does) - Duke will beat the shit out of us....Ryan Kelly will drop 25+ just like he does every time we play them.
 
Like I mentioned weeks ago... Wake buying the Joel is VERY good news for the BzOuters.

I suspect Ron's still got a lot of fans and ain't going nowhere. But I hope you're right. I've thought the [Redacted] hire was inexcusable since day one.

Norwood Teague, now at Minnesota. He is from Raleigh(?) and is a UNC grad. He would be a phenomenal hire for AD.

What would make you think we can beat UM? They area bad matchup for us. They hammered us both games.
