been working way too much in 2013, weekends included.
 
Just had one of my clients come into my office and say "can I ask you a personal favor, if you see this lady around that you may recognize, act as if you don't"
 
So a couple of CT's ago I mentioned that a customer was returning a $330K order that I sold (due to no fault of mine) and just found out that the total return is close to $500K.

You know what else blows? Florida weather. Its a monsoon down here. Think happy thoughts and pray the rain goes away before the Saturday beach wedding.

Don't have to pay it back, but it hits my number this quarter. This was sold last June...that's right, eleven fucking months ago (first time I've cussed on here, I think). I'm a little pissed off. I've got a $3M deal in the works, so that will off-set it, if I can bring it in. It's a long shot right now.

If the $3M deal hits there will be a new post like this:

in other news, i was here until about 7 last night and got up from my desk twice all day (10.5 hours). today has been a little more relaxed (because i was such a boss yesterday), and at this point i'm basically just waiting for my actual boss to give me a list of items to adjust in the budget. i've asked if i can help with anything to help the process go faster, and he said no... which sucks, because my ability to leave depends on his ability to get things done.
it's a beautiful day, i have to do a fartlek run tonight, and i just want out of the office... but i can't go. laaaaaaame.
