People u went to high school w/ who were murdered, drug overdose, suicide, etc.

i mean we can all be certain that a lot of chicks are deeply depressed when they see how handsome el chupe is now and that they missed getting the hot D when they had the chance
 
Only two people I know died. One guy from my high school fell of a hotel balcony in Miami and died. There is a question of whether or not it was suicide. Another guy was a Marine and died earlier this year. He was one of the guys who died in that training accident in Nevada in March. Crazy that he made it through a tour in Afghanistan and dies in a training accident. He was only there because he re-upped for a 2nd tour of duty.

Another guy I know got arrested over thanksgiving since he got in a fight with his parents during thanksgiving. The parents called the police but the kid ran away. Police found him behind a dumpster at a gas station and he spit on the cop and tried to run again but was caught. Not sure what happened to him but last I heard his parents didn't pay his bail.
 
One died of an overdose - not sure what specifically. Another in a car accident. A third nearly died in a boating accident and claimed he saw the car accident victim telling him "go back - it's not your time yet."
 
Knew 2 kids who were driving back from college one weekend when they somehow drove straight into the back of an 18 wheeler going REALLY fast. It took the entire top of the car off; they were killed instantly. The truck had slowed down a little, but they ran straight into the back of it at such a speed that everyone suspected drugs were in play. I never heard about any autopsy results though.
 
Just remembered about another girl who died shortly after high school as well cause was unknown. One of my best friends from HS was the uncle of the 3 and 4 year old boys that drowned in the Dan River a few years ago. A girl I went to school with and grew up with brother died of alcohol poisoning.
 
This girl was in my high school class. She dropped out, started stripping locally, and later made the "big time." A few years later she died of a drug overdose in a house at Lake James outside of Morganton. On a side note, I made out with her at a junior high dance. I hadn't seen or heard of her after I graduated high school and then happened to see this magazine cover while walking through an airport during my senior year of college. Bought a copy on the spot...

I moved from South Carolina to TN in middles school. About 2 years after I moved, my best friend from SC committed suicide.

I also know one guy, who was one of my friends in middle school, who had a breakdown while he was in college and killed his brother and a guy I played football with in high school had a pretty bad drug problem and shot his girlfriend and cousin.
 
One of my best friends who was the same year as me at Wake and had also gone to school with me from second grade through high school, committed suicide over Christmas break during our sophomore year at Wake.
 
I don't think anyone I went to high school with died, but a guy in my summer associate class that had become a fast friend (enough of one to be invited to his wedding) died in a snowmobile accident between Christmas and New Years my 3L year.
 
A sorta-friend of mine who went to EFHS with me got hit by a van and died a few years ago. That's all I can remember right now.
 
Friends older brother drowned in high school. Drugs were involved.
Good friend from WFU sister was killed when a truck ran a rural stop sign and killed her.
High school friend shot himself accidentally while playing russian rullett w two other guys.
 
Maybe I am just blocking it out, or there are things that have happened since HS that I have not heard about, but oddly I can't think of anyone from my 400-person graduating class that has died. Or at least not anyone I knew well and would've known about. I know of people a class or two above or below that have died in car accidents, but can't think of anything crazy like murders or ODs at the moment.

So far the most metal death is the Russian Roulette, followed closely by the snowmobile. Chic's revelation about all her high school classmates ODing was pretty cool, but then it turned out that shit wasn't so.
 
Knew a kid in high school, wasn't very close with him, but he was friends with some people I was kind of friends and seemed like a decent enough guy other than he was kind of one of those "redneck for the sake of being redneck" guys. He ended up going into the Marines and became a salvage diver or something like that. I would see him maybe a couple times a year around town and chat for 5-15 minutes and he was always really nice/friendly to me and I would be the same to him, but I never really got into deep conversations with him because he was kind of weird and always wanted to talk about guns. (Which isn't entirely unusual for rednecks from Western NC, but it was ALL he wanted to talk about) The last few times I saw him he was wearing camo shorts and metal (as in t-shirts of heavy metal bands) shirts at bars...which even in Asheville is being a bit underdressed. Anyway, I probably hadn't seen him in a year or so and saw a little blurb in the paper saying that he had died, but it suspiciously didn't discuss how he died. I found out a few weeks later that the day before his sisters wedding he walked into a room and shot his dad and his brother in the chest and then shot himself in the head. Luckily, his dad and brother survived (or so I'm told)

We had a lot of deaths my four years of HS. An aneurysm,a heart condition, a prescription drug OD, 3 kids in a car accident (and another was paralyzed in a car accident). At least one kid died every year of HS.
 
Waiting for a table at a restaurant in Topsail Beach a few years ago, I randomly picked up one of those tiny weekly local newspapers. Inside on like page 6 was a pic and article about a long-time baseball teammate who murdered a broad by strangling her to death. Seems they were living in a trailer out in the sticks with no water or electricity just doing a lot of drugs and living in squalor before he freaked and choked her out.
