To be fair, most of that hate comes from the fans, not the actual athletes. Over the years, many of our players have been friends with players on other teams. The players want to win, sure, but many times they don't seem to get caught up in the vitriol that many fans do.

A good man. That part is disappointing. But I'm a little confused . . . is he "hurting" because Austin wasn't recruited by Wake in the way he'd hoped? Or because Austin did not want to be at Wake like he'd hoped?

I hate UNC more than the next guy and hope they never win another game. But to be a WR in their pass happy, up tempo offense (screw it) wouldn't be to shabby. Not to say that u can't put up numbers in our offense given history (camp, givens, boldin, Moore).
 
For the record UNC is the real Carolina (oldest public state university in the USA 1795) now i am going to puke for backing up the goats

Oh, and the real USC (in Columbia) was founded in 1801. Southern Cal was founded in 1880.
 
What is truly humorous is if the kid had committed to Wake all the sorry fuggin fans would be moaning about "another 2 star". They'd point out the fact that he's a highly visible prospect who trains at Proehlific Park.
