Peeing in the shower

My morning routine is toilet, contacts, toothbrush, shower. I'll admit it, peeing in the shower happens now and then but it's never part of the plan, and never during a morning shower since I've just gone. As for other multi-tasking, I like brushing my teeth with cold water so brushing them in the shower sounds unpleasant. I've also got to wonder how long some of your showers take to warm up - seems like there is a lot of letting the water run while you do other things. I turn mine on outside the shower, then walk like one step to the other end of the tub and get in, and it's always warm already.

if i'm not running or otherwise exercising, my morning routine is: toilet, brush teeth, let dog out/take care of garden, then i get around to the shower. mine does take a little while to heat up, but i tend to use the heating up time to weigh myself or something.

Your bathroom plumbing must be just a few feet from your water heater.

My shower is two floors above my heater and my shower is warm in the time it takes me to turn on my morning music (so like 5 seconds).

Yeah the water heater is probably about directly below the shower. Also I'm one person in a one-bathroom house so there aren't other demands for hot water during shower time.

I think our hot water heater is located in hell because it goes from 3:00 (off) to 9:00 (hottest possible) with noon being the middle and I normally have it at about 11:00. If you go past 11:30 you start burning your skin.

Our sink in the kitchen is similar, but I guess your hands can handle slightly higher temperatures.

You live in an apartment? You can probably turn it down. I had to turn mine down shortly after I moved in.

(not the shower temp, but the actual hot water heater. you're wasting money heating up water to a temp that is too hot for you)

my ex claimed that peeing in the shower was the only thing she hated about me. I probably shouldn't have done it when she was in there, to be fair.

LOL I had a GF in college who gave me all kinds of grief about peeing in the shower with her one morning (I did not pee on her, but peed directly into the drain). She was yelling at me so loudly that other guys in our suite came over to see what the problem was. When she told them that I peed in the shower, they agreed with me that it was OK.

A few weeks later, we took a shower together after a night of heavy drinking. She wasn't a big drinker but she'd tied one on that night. In the shower she started laughing hysterically, and when I asked why she said "I'm peeing!". She then started singing the words "pee pee pee pee" to the tune of some 80s song. Thats when I knew she was a keeper and we dated exclusively for over a year.

House

Kinda like it. It is badass. Helps burn shit off in the kitchen.

you can change it in a house too. not sure why you'd want to pay to heat water that's too hot to touch.

This is not how I would have chosen to disclose my incontinence.
