Actually, when we play at Clem Coach is more concerned about getting out of the locker room to see Clems football pageantry. I assure I'm not kidding.
Anybody close to the team and Grobe know if the staff even looks at stats like these? Seems obvious Grobe does not, but confirmation would be nice.

Last year Wake averaged 1.46 yards per drive, 108th in the country. 65th in 2011, 101st in 2010.
Is Lobo Grobe's son-in-law? I'm not trying to be funny. This is legitimate question.
Update on this year's stats.
Points per game - #106 18.4 ypg (last year = #116 18.5)
Rushing yards per game - #108 109.4 ypg (last year = #116 100.5)
Rushing yards per carry - #117 2.97 ypc (last year = #118 3.00 ypc)
Passing yards per game - #95 202.8 ypg (last year = #93 200.8 ypg)
Passing yards per attempt - #85 6.7 ypa (last year = #122 5.6 ypa)
Total offense - #116 312.2 ypg (last year = #120 301.3 ypg)
Yards per play - #111 4.66 ypp (last year = #122 4.36 ypp)
Note: These stats are taken from cfbstats.com. They include new FBS teams like in last year's stats.
It's very possible we end up with worse offensive stats than last year and below 100th in the nation in all four categories. Just mathematically that's very hard to do.
