I was totally stunned as I found myself nodding along to everything he said. The man's an experienced, tactical politician who understands the realities of bipartisan government. I don't agree with his politics, but Graham actually comprehends how to govern something. I almost want to donate to his primary campaign, just to keep another sane person in office.

Washington needs more statesmen.

Fox News is talking about how proud they are of Ted Cruz for standing up for the Tea Party ideals.

Couldn't bring myself to turn there. Tried to listen to Maddow and Piers Morgan and it's painful.

I'm curious who from the House votes for this and puts them on the primary list.

Geez, Ann Coulter is coming on next. This is horrible. First time I've actually wanted to watch prime-time news in awhile and it's horrifically bad.

Megyn Kelly and Fox are back on the barricading WWII monuments...

"I don't want to speculate, and I have no proof, but..."

Onto the national debt clock and children...

Just listened to Cruz predict doomsday on Hannity. Apparently universal health care costs money, who'da thunk it?

Obama is far to the left of Reagan. Ronnie thought Medicare would lead to socialism and the ruining of our nation. He also opposed Social Security. He wanted to dismantle the social safety net.
Reagan's cynically designed trickle down scam is dramatically in contrast Obama's economic policies.

That being said, Reagan would be considered a RINO or a Dem to today's wacko Republican rank and file.

That would have been a real waste of effort, since you don't have to do anything to dismantle something that is already on a collision course with insolvency. Just let nature take its course.

At least Burr made the right call. Shocked that Virginia Foxx voted no. Never saw that coming.

I'm expecting a dramatic email from her today about how Obama and the government once again went against the American people's wishes that's she's so diligently trying to uphold.

Better yet, one of her letters sent at taxpayer expense

Cantor with the surprising Yes vote.

The NO votes were all a vote to have the US Government default on her debt obligations. :rulz:

I'm not sure Cantor's vote is that surprising. He has always seemed to me to be a very shrewd political tactician that is out for his own gain first and foremost. He was visible enough to avoid being primaried, but he can soothe moderates by saying he made the right decision ultimately.

3 states completely voted no in the Senate: Alabama, Idaho, and Texas. You know, THE American People.

I suspect some of those NO votes were CYA votes, knowing that the bill was going to pass. My Congressman voted NO and I'm firing off a nasty letter to him this morning. We need to make our Representatives realize they're afraid of the wrong people.
