Judging Bz's coaching ability based on what happened when he was TOLD to clean up the program even if it meant taking it to the ground and did, and TOLD that winning was not going to matter, is not fair in the slightest. Same with the time frame. You can't really blame Bz for the longer than normal time frame for a coaching transition when he was TOLD clean up the program from the ground up. That's like comparing a restaurant kitchen remodel by simply installing IKEA cabinets, with discovering the kitchen had water issues and all the foundation beams need to be replaced.......and then acting like he sucks as a restauranteur. One takes longer than the other.
What is fair is to judge him on how he coaches the team with his recruited players and that's what he has now. We'll see if recent success has legs. If it doesn't then he will not meet expectations this year and he'll be gone....it's pretty cut and dry. Just let him actually fail fairly by actions if you want him to fail.
I was the first person on either board to point out the crappy rebounding historicals so it's not like I don't know what he's done at other places .
