UVA opens -8.5 vs. Deacs tomorrow

I feel like this is a game where we as fans express some optimism, then we get absolutely steamrolled and the game is over by halftime. Prove me wrong, BZ!
 
Yep. Was @GT immediately after the Miami win last year? The game where it was like 30-5 or something 10 minutes into the game?

Just looked it up, it was right after we beat NCSU when they were ranked.
 
And the score was 37-7. #[Redacted]'d
 
I'm not sure how we are going to score. Going to be hard for us to get to the rim against their scheme/size. They do a tremendous job stopping transition and the secondary break. 6th in nation in 2pt FG% against. 10th in nation in defensive rebound percentage.

I sense some long scoring droughts in this one.
 
I sure hope Moto is instructed not to take the jumper they are going to leave him wide open for each time he touches the ball

i would take wake +11
that's about the first line i like tho
 
Nothing sucks worse than betting on Wake to cover a big number and having them lose by 20. Well, some thing suck worse, but not many.
 
This is pretty drastic movement for a random ACC game, especially with the Harris news. Probably a few large bets on UVA here influencing the line. Some sharps must see this one as a spot.
 
My dumbass invited a UVA grad over tonight to watch this. Can the Deacs show up for ONE road game?!
 
This game could potentially be a good preview of next season sans Coron and Travis. Play zone or pack line D against us and force us to take a lot of jump shots and well, woof.

FWIW, the smart money (professional gamblers) is on UVA (although they have a sweet middle going if they got UVA -8.5 or 9 as the game opened at 8.5 and is now 11 and 11.5 everywhere).
 
Need contributions from Cav, Coron, and Travis tonight. Motto needs to continue doing what he does well and not do what he doesn't do well.
