Indictment of Jeff [Redacted]

Last night's presser:

Q: "Why have the Demon Deacons struggled on the road?"
Bz: "I really don't have the answer to that."

After several years his answers are stale and meaningless...

My biggest concern aside from the obvious drubbings, is how the other team we're playing seems to go on these huge point runs. A 22-6 run last night by UVA to start the second half. I mean, really? That is the proof of poor coaching in my opinion.

And aside from that, I think [Redacted] is gone after this year so that's that. However, I like our players and think if we had Shelton Mitchell running point, with CMM at the 2 and Madison giving a breather for both throughout the game we would have a formidable back court. Can't Mitchell get out of his LOI if [Redacted] leaves? I'm sure that's not attracted him to Wake to begin with, but is disconcerting that he would be presented with the option to go elsewhere after what will assuredly be yet another bad basketball season for Wake hoops.

Fucking A. What a disaster. Go Deacs

And there you have it: the most honest statement from anyone in the AD about our basketball program in almost 4 years.

What struck me last night was the look of dismay on our players' faces. They appeared MISERABLE. They looked as though they were simply enduring. Who's fault is that? Not the collective team, for sure. I'd place that on bzz's already full plate of incompetencies and failures.

Devin smashing his face into that kid's shoulder reminded me of when he randomly tried to jump over someone earlier in the year. The fact that one of our best players is apparently trying to kill himself is a pretty solid indictment of our coaching staff.

Hysterical, pos rep to you sir

Crimes against basketball- hangin' offense. Guilty, guilty, guilty. Wellman equally guilty for aiding and abetting. Hang his butt too. BzzyBoy gives Bob Wade a case for a pardon as the worst ever.

[Redacted] has been worse than Wade was and it's not even really close.

Didn't Bob Wade get hired straight from a high school program or am I just making things up? If so, at least he had a good excuse jumping from high school to college and it being over his head. Bzzzz has no excuse other than just being a pathetic coach.

When was the last time Wake played a close road game? The only one I can think of is @VA TECH last season, a game that we should have won but found a way to choke. I want to believe that there are more but i cannot think of any. All i think of is blowouts.

Funny -- I was just thinking when I saw the 1-25 statistic, when the fuck did we ever win 1? I honestly have no idea. Did we win @ BC or @ VT a couple years ago?

Actually reminds me of the bit from Bull Durham:

Skip: What's our record, Larry?

Larry: Eight and sixteen.

Skip: Eight... and sixteen. How'd we ever win eight?

Larry: It's a miracle.

Same here, Say Hey. Can't remember who or when. The only thing I do know is that, next to us, whoever that team is feels pretty bad about our 1-25 bzzdaster.

I think it was a win at BC a couple of years ago. Impressive!!!!

A very simple question- In the TV era, has there ever been a coach, in a major conference, with a 3+ year or 4+ year road record that approaches [Redacted]'s?

Although it stretches over 2 different coaches, since 2009 season, Depaul has managed to go 7-86 in the Big East regular season. If you include the Big East tourney those #s go to 8-91. I know you specified road games, but I imagine the road totals have to be pretty bad overall.
