That's fine, but then you have to evaluate him as a "seasoned" assistant coach. Same goes for Battle. Look at our recruiting. Look at our player development. Look at our game preparation. [Redacted] may run a sinking ship, but outside of Codi's (and maybe Devin and Cav's) development last summer I just don't see anything that instills confidence that these guys are capable.
 
If he really started to cry I feel bad for the guy. Maybe he just has a cold.

Nope..Larue was hired after the '08-'09 season.

Larue was a bad hire if Ron wasn't confident in Dino's ability to lead the program. I think that's pretty hard to argue with that. If Skip had still been the head coach that would be a whole different story.

The NBA scout has a hard time evaluating talent? I really have a hard time believing that... Of all of Buzz's faults, if he can't evaluate talent - can he literally do anything competently?

Yeah. But it wasn't an interview with Stan because they're upstairs and Bz couldn't get up there. So it was the press conference at the end of the game. He said something about how Duke is really good at shooting 3 pointers and gave a little laugh and then it sounded like he was starting to break down. He asked, "Anymore questions" and there was silence and that was the end. Maybe he just had a cold. It might've been nothing.

I'm still waiting on this one... So no one-and-dones except the guys we are recruiting (and have offered) who look like they may be one-and-dones.

Hasn't brought in the talent to compete in the ACC. If he was a good recruiter & the coach he is now, we'd at least be mildly competitive.

That would seriously suck if Bz is so beaten down that he's on the verge of a breakdown or something. No one else was listening? Maybe I misheard it. It was on the radio so he probably just had a cold or something.

Well have you seen the product on the floor? We have no legit big after 4 years...

He cannot evaluate the talent needed to compete in the ACC...he just doesn't get it.

Put Skip in place of Buzz with our assistants and it would be a different story and everybody who knows anything knows that

But here you are, complaining about people objectively evaluating the current coaching staff. Well, at least the two on the staff that used to play at Wake.
