Fuck You, Jeff [Redacted].

I'm at a loss at how someone could read that article and get angry at the writer of all people.

Touche

I guess I'm a bit biased given my distain for Buz...As a student correspondent I guess she can't really blast him for his silly comments

“In four years we transformed the program from inheriting six players who had problems with the law to a winning season, a home sweep of the Tobacco Road teams (Duke, UNC, NC State) and an ACC tournament win of a team composed of nine freshmen and sophomores, who by the way, also had the highest team GPA last spring in team history.”

Is Ron really going to let this guy go on a media hit parade now? Stop the madness!!

Just go away and keep quiet you boob!

Remember when Dino was FIRED. He just manned up for the good of the program. There was no blame game or anything negative. This should make it painfully obvious to everyone that...

Dino's culture > [Redacted]'s culture

[Redacted] continues to confirm that he is a sorry individual. If this is the new "culture" that RW has tried to promote, I don't want any of it.

So we let this nerd resign AND we're allowing him to spout this non-sense in the press?? Even if remotely true in some way, what good is it now to throw gas on the flames??

Just get your new coach and win back your fans Ronnie. Cannot believe this crap. Wait, yes I can.

All of this.

Staak was a lovable loser. Bz is just a loser.

so bzz is allowed to talk about Haas? a player that never signed with him? saying that 6 of his player had trouble with the law (omitting it happened after he was hired) guess he's no longer bound by ncaa rules but it sure is good #culture.

what a delusional POS. still blaming everyone else. he got a win in the first ever 5 round ACC tourney. good for you. try not to get blown out a day later.
he'll never coach college again. no way. any research turning up this kind of stuff.

May Bz's bony ass be devoured by a shark this Summer @ his beach abode!

I had made a personal decision not to post anything about Bz again ... until I heard about this mess. He is delusional. And the AD is enabling him.
Final comments. The decision to can him was made long ago. He was told he would not return almost four weeks ago. While technically he may have "resigned" he did not have the option to return. If he truly resigned, why is he receiving a buyout of his final year? Commenting on players with problems with the law is misleading at best. I would love to be able to challenge each one on a point/counterpoint. Some of the things he references were not legit. The problems were greatest under his watch, and many were not revealed publicly.
He is an outright liar on things both great and small. Most of the major lies were selfserving. It was the small ones that really didnt make much difference that made me shake my head.
The culture is not better. The program is not better.
Thankfully, we are moving on now.

And that there was a gag-order invoked at the time. There was something that Wellman didn't want to get out, but at the same time he had enough respect for Dino to keep it under wraps.

I don't understand why Bzz is allowed to just shoot his mouth off like this; it does no one any good now. Well, except him.

BOOM!

Apologies to the esteemed Baby for posting at the same precise moment!

May we never hear from [Redacted] ever again.

Boom. Go fuck yourself, Jeff.

Why was there not a clause in the buyout demanding Bz keep his mouth shut about Wake so he could do us no more harm.

[Redacted] says. “In four years we transformed the program from inheriting six players who had problems with the law to a winning season, a home sweep of the Tobacco Road teams (Duke, UNC, NC State) and an ACC tournament win of a team composed of nine freshmen and sophomores.."

Quite a sentence Buzz.

1) Throws players he coached under the bus. Check. "Inheriting six players who had problems with the law."
2)Overstates accomplishments. Check. "“In four years we transformed the program from inheriting six players who had problems with the law to a winning season" We were 20-11 with a NCAAT win the month before he became coach. His best year was 17-16. He transformed it into a dumpster fire.
3) Overstates accomplishments. Double Check. "home sweep of the Tobacco Road teams". Casually leaves out the fact that he lost to those 3 teams by a combined 68 points on the road.
4) Overstates accomplishments. Discount Double Check. "an ACC tournament win". The win got him to the Round of 12.
5) Youth excuse. Check. "team composed of nine freshmen and sophomores" Because he is such an incompetent fool that he was able to keep 1 of the 8 scholarship players that enrolled at Wake in his 1st 2 seasons.

Go the fuck away Buzz.

Boom-Shaka-Laka.

Also, what's up with Tree's "he stayed classy his whole four years here" quote? Was he here for the "F*** you" to the Miami fan?

Good on the kid for getting the interview. Bz hasn't talked on the record with any other media. Interesting that he talks to a college student and not more seasoned journalists.

His comments were so ripe for follow up questions.

Yep, good on her.

If I'm one of the six and I didn't have "trouble with the law" then I'm taking Buzz's buyout.
