1) the word "Unless" written in Cherokee phonetics - I got it when I was 20 - kind of dumb tattoo, but I still like the meaning and glad I have it, just probably wouldn't have done the Cherokee

2) and this on my right calf:

On first read I thought that said "useless" and I was wondering what the story behind that was.

I love running and generally being outside so I've always thought about getting a tatoo of the sun over my back left shoulder. Something like

I don't have any, and am not necessarily interested in one (at least at this point). Had 6 different piercings at one point (down to 4 now), but that's a different discussion.

And agreed with above that face =/= forearm tattoos. I know a few folks with forearm tattoos that are pretty normal. One of my good friends has a whole sleeve and honestly, I forget he has it most of the time, even when hanging out with him with short sleeves on, etc.

There are plenty of sleeves in Corporate America now, even in conservo-Charlotte, and especially in places like NY and SF. That's what I'll do if I ever end up getting more ink.

Not that interesting. 2 in each ear lobe (4 total), plus 1 cartilage, plus 1 nose.

We've talked about doing this, or getting each others initials. Truthfully, I'd rather have it than wear my ring all the time. I get it caught on pretty much everything I do with my hands.

I like this idea, but no that's not it. I won't get too detailed except to say that it has emotional appeal and has to do with where I was born and did some growing up. It would be a bit of an homage to a place, people, and culture that I'm permanently connected to. And no, that isn't rednecks.

Its very useful for opening pop top bottles though. Guess I'll have to go back to carrying around a bottle opener on my keychain if I ever stop wearing it.

my least favorite coworker has a neck tat and i judge the hairy heck out of him all the time for it. i always wonder what #clients think of it if/when they see it when we have them in the office.

Just a note to myself that it's not necessarily my big plan. At the time I got it, it was much more Biblical in meaning (follow His footsteps) but my ideas and such have changed since i got it so now it's more just the reminder that it's ok to take the back seat.

This made me count and I have had 10. 13 if you count that I let some close and had them redone.

Yeah. I hated wearing a ring. And I damn near pulled my finger off twice by getting it caught while working on cars and doing some light construction. The tattoo is awesome.
