Wake/VT

Defense has to get much better for us to get much better in terms of conference finish. I agree with Sailor Deac - we are just too soft inside and give up way too many easy shots - most recent example being points 80 and 81 for Va Tech.

You mean the only team in the ACC that shoots FT's worse than us.
 
The chance of CMM making 2 FTs at the end were pretty slim anyway...better to end this way then see him miss them both.....that would have been too cruel.

We had our chances at the end....

I'm with you. Stellar performance to end his junior year. At least, CJ went to the dance as a freshman.

Ya sucks for them but neither one of them did a damn thing defensively though. We are a bad shooting team with minimal size. We have to defend to have any shot in any game. Today we were pathetic in that facet and that includes Devin and Codi.

Sure, but he was 5-6 today. Of course he could have missed both but he deserved the chance to win the game and shut up 22.
 
I guess the upside is it's only Tuesday. Wait, damn, it's Tuesday .......
 
I appreciate the effort that CMM brought throughout the year, even if he wasn't particularly successful during key times. That stands in stark contrast to DT, who seemed to only show up when it suited him and was doing his usual head case routine for most of the year after fooling us into thinking that DM had straightened him out.

Wilbekin needs to step up his game next year by putting on some muscle and improving his conditioning. He really hit a wall in the second half of the season and he needs to be a viable offensive open not just when he's wide open for a shot.

We are at least two years away from being worth a shit again. I hate Wellman so much.
