Because I try to give mafia legit fake claims or else there's no point. I try to have characters for civs you wouldn't expect to be in the game in the game so people don't just buy claims and vice-versa.

I also need to give vanillas generic names normally for safe claim purposes. I could have just given people random characters but seemed to make safe claim design harder.

"Jedi" affected by Order 66 = Qui-Gon, Luke, Rey.

Da's mechanic about whether the surprise attack worked depended upon whether he voted for more mafia or civs. If Emperor had selected Trade Federation, would've been able to utilize their fleet to destroy Rebellion surprise attack.

None of that ended up mattering because a) half the mafia didn't show up, b) death star never was operational; c) Jabba died so no mafia paid Boba/Boba didn't buy anything/civs were so far ahead after AA that Lando had no motive to buy anything. Etc. Basically half of what was built into this game ended up being irrelevant.

Maul auto-won a duel against Qui-Gon, would auto-lose against Luke (purposefully left Obi-Wan out of this thinking it could be a good safe role claim for mafia).
 
Nice twist that none of the Jedi effected by Order 66 were actually around for Order 66.

Lol... that's true.

I wondered if Luke would've been affected since he wasn't a Jedi until D4.
 
Maybe we should nickname Tim "Order 66," since he neutralizes Jedi powers.
 
Also my role for da I thought was cool when I made it but I was going to have him guess who was mafia the night it was used to determine if it was successful, but realized that would then function as a powerful investigative role too and didn't want that much power for civs so I switched it. However when I switched it I didn't realize until after game started that the blind mechanism would disincentivize any desire to use the power outside of desperation. Again, it didn't end up mattering once Tarkin was AA'd/Emperor died d1.

Too bad we had some no shows. Totally different game if we have one or two folks around at deadline Day 1 or don't have the two AAs

Also as soon as Eagles told me who else was mafia I guessed we'd have two AAs. He agreed on Diego

Nah, I just wanted you to say it, to see if anyone countered. Honestly, the biggest problem there is that we were never told that Jabba's role was partially redacted, which I thiiiiink was a mod mistake. If I had known that, I never would have questioned you at all. I remember thinking at one point that the only characters who made sense in that role were Lando and Jabba, but since Jabba was dead, maf must have had someone else I was missing for it.

Also, I decided about halfway through that day that I was going to make a late push for manning. When he started getting heat, I sat back and waited to attempt a killshot. He looked so dirty when I started the push for you.

Mostly to gauge reaction. I wasn't joking about ignoring toogs, though. I think he's a fairly consistent game ruiner and genuinely poor civ. Judging by recent rep and by past mod chats, I'm not alone in those thoughts.

I don't think you'd kill Knight N1. I also thought I remembered you throwing shade at rommy or gouda a while back. Might've misremembered that though. Did you make the call on those hits, or did manning? Genuinely curious
 
Ya I think I wanted some combo of tic, Gouda and I don't remember the other night 1. RW mentioned knight and I agreed that was a good idea. But ya he was a RW idea. I wasn't there n2 I don't think

I have been an advocate for suquers being overrated but I also know if there is anyone that's gonna figure me out early it's 1. nonny and probably Gouda next. And I hate it
