No, he is saying it exists, but that not everyone has the same definition of it. People have different definitions of human/socially-created definitions all the time. Career is a human invented construct. Most people generally have the same definition of it, but some don't. If someone asks me my career and I say "Batman" because I put a cape on and run around outside at night, I may in my heart of hearts think that I am Batman because my brain is telling me that I am Batman, but that doesn't mean that everyone else needs to respect that as my definition of my career.

What the CLT Ordinance does is prioritize those who believe in Batman over those who believe that, even if Batman does exist, they don't want to be around the dude acting like he is Batman for whatever reason.

You say that gender not matching sex is scientific, which it probably is in some way. So what is it scientifically ... a hormone imbalance? A genetic mutation? A mental illness? What? If either of those or a host of other causations is correct, then as I've said before, throw it in as a disability under the ADA and get whatever relief you want under federal law without any need for any local ordinances. But the SJWs want the feel-good result of it as well to reaffirm transgenders that they are "normal" (despite being only 0.1% of the population), so hence the discriminatory CLT Ordinance.

Biological dudes take nastier shits than biological women. They are louder, stink more, and make a bigger mess. That is a legitimate reason for a biological woman to not want to use the bathroom with a biological man whose gender is female, but does not apply to a biological woman whose gender is male. So there is your legitimate reason, and it just so happens that there is as much formal evidence of that occurring as there is formal evidence of violence against transgenders in CLT bathrooms, so our legitimate reasons stand on equal ground.

Haha this is completely false. Women take absolutely disgusting shits. Have you ever had to clean a women's bathroom? They are, on average, immensely more disgusting than men's. What a fantastical crock of bullshit you are buying into.

So in other words, it is as valid a reason as violence against transgenders in Charlotte bathrooms as support of the ordinance. As I said, equal ground.

I'm all for unisex bathrooms, TBH. I think the single occupancy bathrooms are the absolute best solution for everyone. Gives the most privacy, safest for children, etc. I'm all for that as a solution.
 
This entire debate and these laws are mindnumbingly dumb.

Neither law should have been written. Nobody should be checking anyone else's private parts to see where they are peeing.

We should all be able to "pee with dignity". That should be the slogan of our movement.

Do you really want to take away the last thing men have over women? Go to a concert or ballgame. We're in and out quickly. Women are often in line to use theirs and miss part of the event.

As BKF states, it's absolutely black and white. Most people are born with either two X or an X and Y chromosome. Most of those with two X chromosomes develop female reproductive organs and female genitalia. Those born with an X and Y chromosome develop male reproductive organs and male genitalia. Except for those born with just one X chromosome (Turner syndrome), who usually have female characteristics but cannot reproduce. Or those with Klinefelter syndrome, in which they are born with two X and one Y chromosome. They have more male characteristics, though they develop breasts, have smaller genitalia, are less interested in sex, and are infertile. Or those with androgen insensitivity syndrome, in which they have an X and Y chromosome and testicles, but they develop female genitalia. Or congenital adrenal hyperplasia, in which people have two X chromosomes but develop male genitalia. Or any of the other 25 or so 'differences of sex development' conditions. It's really quite straightforward.
