Official OGBoards Golf Thread

Got a gear beast to attach my phone to my golf cart frame for sweet sweet tunes. Recommend. I don't use any gps golf crap because I eyeball my shot ranges old school, which not many people can do anymore. Sad!
 
US Girls Amatuer....Duke signee doesn't concede 4 inch putt on 18 when AS, and forces official to assess 1 shot penalty.

Match AS. Non-Duke girl has 5 footer to win on 18. Putt slides right, missing by 4 inches. She pulls the ball back in disgust, and Duke girl proclaims "I didn't give you that putt." Official agrees and assesses 1 shot penoto non-Duke girl.
 
Played old town today for first time in 5 years (second time overall). Such a cool place and great course. I don't know the scope of the renovation but seemed really just like bunkering and maybe some trees taken out. Either way was in great shape and a fun one to play (aside from the 20mph winds the while round).

Sounds like the non-Duke girl's fault to me. If she didn't concede the putt, you certainly can't just pull it back. You either wait until the putt is given, or you knock it in. Probably a douche move to get excited about her not putting out (no idea if that happened), but the rules are the rules; you can't retro-actively make the putt good.

Technically, you are correct.
 
First time playing since May (unless you count a drunken night at TopGolf) and fired 75 from the tips at Olde Homeplace. Had 4 BRUTAL lip outs as well, overall pretty pleased.
 
If she didn't call out that she didn't concede the putt would it still of been a rule violation, or would it be assumed that the putt was conceded?

Watched the video and it was as fucked up as it sounds. Then she shows zero remorse while celebrating the win. What. A. Cunt.

fuck...couldn't hit a putt for the life of me last weekend. not sure what happened, 2-3 putted every damn hole. also the ole baseball slice is finding it's way back into my game...i am not playing enough.
