CP3 takes on Trump

The "both sides" thing is still confusing.

I think it takes little to no effort to grasp what the protesters are and are not protesting.

And mere willful ignorance to assign to them some nefarious or unpatriotic motivation.

Am I understanding both sides?

So the Castro shirt and pig socks couldn't cause confusion? Or do they just get ignored for some reason?

Tebow is older than than the average MLB player. If he's in the majors next year he'll be older than roughly 60% of the players and likely out of the game in a couple of years anyway. Why would a team spend a cent trying to develop a guy who probably isn't going to make it and won't be a contributor before his skill further decline even if he does. And it's not like Tebow's body doesn't have any wear and tear on it. He played football in the SEC and NFL.

The only reason Tebow is playing baseball is because he IS a distraction, or put differently in minor league baseball, and attraction (since both bring folks to the game).

Why did you compare them to starters? Nobody has made the argument that either for or against them starting. The issue is whether either is worth the headache as a backup. That said, the best record among those you cherrypicked is Bortles at 3-13, with Kaep at 1-10. Tebow's year was 7-4.

It's almost like there is more to football than who is at the QB position. I compared them to starters because Kap would at a minimum be competing for a starting job if not for taking a knee. The entire point is that teams are blackballing him because the stance he took is controversial.

The same can't be said for Tebow.

Because that player can turn that cent into a dollar.

Talk about cherry-picking records! This is a HUGELY dishonest post!

Why don't you include Kaep going 5-2 and leading a team to the Super Bowl?

Why don't you talk about Kaep going 12-4 and leading the Niners to the NFC Championship Game?

If I say the sky is blue and some idiot says all sky colors matter, it's not my fault that the idiot didn't understand a straightforward statement.

If it's his message, and he can't clearly get it across without reasonable confusion, then yeah it is his fault. That is kind of the way it works.

So if someone puts their finger in their ears and yells "la la la la la la!" it's the other guy's fault for not getting the message across. Gotcha.

He was great in those years, for sure. He also sucked ass the last two years. Like worse than Fitzpatrick or McCown. If he was still the 12-4 player he would still be in the league. Again, if Dak took a knee by himself last night and for the rest of the season, he isn't getting cut.

Yes. If he is the target recipient, then the speaker needs to find a better way to get his message across.

Sure it can. Tebow praises God for his success, which millennials and Gen-Xers don't want to hear (why didn't he choose the losing team?). He is a walking circus, rightly or wrongly. So he gets blackballed despite having success as a starter and in the playoffs, because NFL teams don't want to deal with the distraction. Same as Kaep.
