I don't see why blackmail is even illegal. I'm talking the standard "I have pictures..." type that we always think of.

It seems to me that if it's of a monetary benefit to you, that's just business.
 
USA Men's Soccer team being eliminated from the World Cup is the best thing to happen to US sports in a long time. Americans should rejoice that we wont have to pretend like we we care about soccer next year while beta males in skinny jeans drink frothy latte's from there curled up mustaches watching their favorite players celebrate ties and be gifted participation trophies.

Soccer is only the worlds sport because the rest of the world is to poor to play football.

I'm also aboard this hottake.
Don't get me wrong, it's cool when we have a good team and can make a deep run. This years squad, even if they made the WC, sucks too much ass to make a run.

The silver lining is that all the mouth-breathers can get it out of their system now, and won't have to remember to post-and-run next summer.
 
I'd say a positive of not qualifying is that I don't have to hear the hot take analysis of the "casual fan" next summer.

Soccer is beyond the point where it needs your support. Don't watch. Go away. We'll be okay without your dumb comparisons to your kids' rec team.
