Still No Bates or Carney on Depth Chart for N.C. State

According to Clawson, Bates and Carney are suffering from strained ligaments. He is waiting for the day the feel good to go. At present they are just starting to move around.
 
Neither Bates nor Carney listed again this week on the depth chart.

Ejiofor is listed which is a bit surprising. Clawson will comment during the press conference I'm sure, but sounds like we won't have either again this week.
 
That really sucks. Bates is a game changer, especially against this team.
 
Les tweeted that Bateman has jumped Rodney at DT. I'm guessing that has to be injury related, although Zeek has been playing through it.
 
Kamara, Bateman, and Basham have come on strong in the last few weeks. Should be a pretty good DL for several years.

I like to go on youtube and do a search. Pulls up quite a few postgame interviews with Clawson/Manning and even interviews with a lot of the players.
 
Duke must not have been too badly injured against Syracuse to be listed as starter for Sat.

We actually did ok without them last week.
Well, maybe even a little better than ok.
Regardless, would love to have them back to join the fun

Depth charts aren't as reliable as they once were. AIR, Dungy was listed as starting for SU and turned out he didn't practice all week and DNP last Sat.

I'd guess Duke is 50-50 to even play.

Fake news. Duke will record 3 TFL and 1.5 sacks. Lectro told me.
 
Amari, Bates, and Duke all considered “questionable to probable”

Carney is out, Byrd is back.
