Not serving a single individual because they are an asshole enabling an autocrat is a far cry from refusing to serve an entire class of people because buttsex grosses you out.
 
Perhaps he can start autographing caskets of service men and women to #supportthetroops. Much more meaningful than addressing drinking water quality on bases.
 
Or sell the families Trump caskets with the Presidential Seal on them...

Arnovis Guidos Portillo remembers the authorities in green uniforms telling him that this would only be temporary.

They told him that his 6-year-old daughter, Meybelin, should really go with them, he recalled. The holding cell was cold, he said he was told, and the child was not sleeping well. Don’t worry, he was assured, she would take the first bus, and he would follow soon.

Guidos was holding back tears from the first moments. He asked her how she was, whether she had eaten. Was she playing or studying or going to church? Despite endless requests over the past month, no one had told him her location or when she might be freed, and she was too young to know.

Had the people there bathed her, he asked? Combed her hair? Given her toys?

“Papa,” she said. “When are you going to take me out of here?”

And that’s when he really began to cry.

Even the best case scenario here is that Dems get control and eventually pass some legislation that mandates family unification. And Republicans will blame it for the rising deficit and use it as a wedge issue.

Separated immigrant children are all over the U.S. now, far from parents who don’t know where they are

At a shelter for the tender-aged near Los Angeles, one little child, overwhelmed, panicked. The hysteria set off the rest of the group, unleashing a contagion of crying that left the staff at a loss.

“The trauma for these children is significant,” said Brown, of Bethany Christian Services in Maryland. “You don’t always see the trauma. You don’t always see it in their faces. But you can see it in their physical reactions.”

At some facilities, there are mental health counselors who try to talk to the kids. But some immigration lawyers caution the children against disclosing too much to the therapists, worried that information might get passed on to the government, possibly affecting the child’s asylum claim.

Relatives of Separated Children Are Now in ICE’s Sights

The agreement calls for ORR to give ICE the names of potential sponsors for children in custody, as well as the names of all adults in the household. ICE then must request fingerprints from all adults in the household to review for criminal records. The unprecedented ICE access to ORR data will deter many potential sponsors who are undocumented or have family members without legal status, meaning untold numbers of children will remain in government custody rather than with their families, said Mark Greenberg, who oversaw ORR during the Obama administration. The current average stay of a child in detention has almost doubled in the past year, according to government records, and even that count only includes children released to a family member or sponsor—not those who are still detained months after coming into government custody.

Given where we're at right now, I'll take it. The GOP will always find wedge issues to stir up their base, at least this way there would be some check in Congress on Trump & Company. Right now, the only thing stopping him are some federal and state judges and courts - which Trump and the Congressional GOP are doing their best to change, via record numbers of judicial appointments.
