He’d be an ok piece on a team with talent around him. He’s just doesn’t have the talent to be the man like his Dad.

He's a 3-star undersized shooting guard. He is who he is. Lots of folks disparage recruiting rankings, but they're usually pretty accurate in terms of predicting ceilings. Obviously, John Collins is a big exception to a pretty well established rule when it comes to Wake players.

Whatever, asshole. Cheer against them all you want, just know that most people that are following game threads are Wake fans and want Wake to win. If Wellman is going to fire Manning a win against BC at home isn't going to change his mind.

I agree with you. I think Brandon would be a great 6th man. He's just not a starting point guard in the ACC, no matter how much folks don't want it to be true. It's a good thing that we recruited a highly regarded 2019 point...oh.
 
We didn't score in the last 4:30. We kept giving them chances and eventually they hit a shot. We are so poorly coached.

This was a bad team on the road shorthanded and their best player was having an off game, and we still lost.

Not his fault. He tells the players how to get fouled so they can score points, but they just don’t listen.

I agree with you that it shouldn't have come down to that. Rewatch that play and focus on Sarr and Hoard. Jaylen tells Olivier to check Bowman and Olivier just slinks back and ignores him.
 
How in the fuck is Danny Manning still employed by Wake Forest? You would think that this would outrage folks like TAB more than Melissa Harris-Perry.
 
Danny is the worst game coach I've ever seen, in close games it would be better if he just went to the locker room early. I joked about him drawing up a play, because on TV it looked like he drew 4 guys out and 1 guy in, but no motion, no nothing, just hey you guys stand here and figure it out.

This. Hoard is a good player, but if you have watched a second of his film you know he's not capable of scoring out of an isolation set like that.
