Our Super Bowl - KP Report on the BC Eagles - Saturday 4 pm - RSN

Good news is that we won't have to stew on this L very long.

Next up: Home on Wed vs. Louisville, coached by Chris Mack and Dino Gaudio.
They are going to bring the heat. Payback game.

I'd trade out team for theirs right now so can't see the relevance. A wide open 3 in rhythm is much easier than a fat-footed swing around throw up out of desperation (remember the lucky ass 3 UVA made 3-4 years ago to win that game? CURSED!

Sarr dropping off Bowman with 3 seconds on the shot clock after he and Chaundee had him in a perfect double team is basically this team in a nutshell. Sure, we have some holes talent-wise and our depth is questionable at best, but even when we play well enough to win, someone will find a way to wrestle failure from victory while our coaches watch in bitter disbelief. Another nail in the coffin as a silver lining.

Pretty good game on defense, aside from letting Popov pop off.

My only explanation for how bad Childress was on offense (shooting and passes to nowhere) is that he was all over Bowman on the other end. Brown did a nice job, as well.

Didn’t miss Torry Johnson at all. Thought Wynn actually gave decent minutes. He seems to be improving as the season goes on and he gets more comfortable.

I enjoy the players on this team, but we suck right now and that has to be Manning’s fault.

Wish we’d fire him tomorrow, but we won’t.

Brutal loss to a shitty team. Unforced turnovers killed us.

We've seen enough. Fire him tonight and we might win a few games.

Otherwise, we lose out.

This is a weird takeaway when we literally lost because of horrendous defense. Rewatch that last Bowman possession.

Held them to 65 points on 41% shooting and 30% from 3 - should be good enough to win most games.

BC is not great, but...we have a top 75 recruit (Hamilton) who is underperforming perhaps because our coaching sucks too as well as Gatorade Player of the Year in Washington (Chatman), a likely second round draft pick, at least, in Bowman, and a rising player in Popovic.

Just watched the last five minutes of the game. What a complete joke. Stagnant offense, ridiculous turnovers, terrible defense. What do we think Danny Manning was drawing on that white board down the stretch? Game of tic tac toe? Picture of his cat?

7th straight game we've had more turnovers than assists.

lol

Down to 167 in KP.

Teams right above us: Mercer, NJIT (who the hell is that?), Rider, Abilene Christian, Marshall, Stony Brook.

Damn. Just damn.

I believe half of that list are either community colleges, night schools or perhaps both. And, almost certain NJIT is New Jersey Institute of Technology. So there's that.

Fun fact about NJIT; they had a 51-game winless streak that ran from 2007 to 2009. Coincidentally, this streak ended right around the last time we were ranked number one nationally. And now they’ve passed us in KP. Fantastic work, Ron.
