Totally Unofficial 2018/19 Premier League Thread (NWT)

you Liverpool supporters are already MELTING DOWN

These are just FACHTS.

Not yet, but unless they beat Bournemouth and that FRAUD Howe by 8 clear goals, I will start to melt down. I fully expect Ibe and Solanke goals, though.

You were very high on Keita if I recall.

Still am. But he is in horrible form now. Should probably sell back to some German club.

I just remember some talk that he was better than Pogba on the Twitter. I like to remember those and laugh.

Naby hasn't been great, but he hasn't been terrible. He should have had a penalty against Leicester that might have won it, and almost provided the potential winner last night, even if Origi was offside, he probably should have done better. So he's had moments.

He's also played about half the minutes Pogba has and doesn't take penalties.

But he hasn't been great, that's for sure. I'm not too worried yet. He just cost a decent chunk and he'd be exactly the type of player Liverpool need right now, if in form, so he's getting attention.

But I think Pogba is great and hope Naby reaches those levels. He looked like he was on his way in Germany, which I imagine is where the comp might have come from, but he's definitely not there yet. Really glad to see Pogba playing with more freedom and happiness.

Don't you try to kill me with kindness. I'm going to enjoy this Liverpool collapse. It will be the best one yet.

And to answer y'all's earlier question of what could be going wrong, that's kind of simple. There are only two field players in Liverpool's side that would waltz into most everyone else's XI. Salah and VVD. The rest are good but not world beaters.

Mebbe Robertson gets there but I think he's starting to get found out a bit as people get more tapes on him.

How many players do tottenham have that waltz into everyone else's XI? Manchester United? Chelsea?

City have a better collection of players than the rest of the league, that isn't surprising. If they win the league it will probably have something to do with that and not liverpool "collapsing".

Again, only one club has led at Christmas in the last decade and not won the Title. Liverpool Football Club. That lead then grew.

It would be a collapse.

Dropping below Man U/Arsenal/Chelsea would be a collapse. Getting caught by City (Liverpool have only lost once all season! only five draws!) would not be.

I don't know if Liverpool can stay ahead of City, but I think you're starting to celebrate a collapse a little too early. A couple of draws hasn't exactly ended the title challenge.*

*There is something amusing about the idea that you'll be celebrating a title for the blue side of Manchester should it happen. I blame Jose.

DV7's hate for Liverpool obviously far surpasses his distaste for City. I imagine that's true for most United fans. Still, that United fans are reduced to rooting for City for the title is a bit tasty.

Go Spurs! (sorry for de Gea licking your tears a couple weeks ago.*)

If any Man United supporter hates City more than Liverpool then they haven't been a Man United supporter for very long.

Toffees resting Richarlison and Gylfi. LOL. Well played. Gamesmanship at its best.
