Miles Dorn: WFU Has No Football Culture

Let me give you a list of points BIFF:

1. We don't care one way or another about Charlotte. It's a nice town during winter moths but that's it.
2. Charlotte is in the BOTTOM third of medium markets.
3. Unless you are from NC or the surrounding area, it is NOT a prime city that anyone desires visits.
4. Again, we don't hate Charlotte or have any ill feelings about it.

LOL, we play in the ACC and we're not going to the playoff. Don't worry about our SOS. Have you seen the teams on the rest of our schedule and who they've lost too ?

The only thing that's going to give our SOS any real boost is if Utah State beats LSU and runs the table in the Mountain West.

I'm sure most on this thread don't appreciate it, and would rather just jump on the hate UNC bandwagon. But yours is a very excellent comment. USU may end up being the second toughest opponent we play this season behind Clemson. For our sake I hope we play consistently well for who we really are, so we give ourselves a good chance to win these games versus our "very mediocre opponents" the rest of the season. That's the best way to foster legitimacy, not worrying about APP state beating UNC. The only positive with that is that it will degrade the Heels further this season, which we all could enjoy. But winning say 8,9 or 10 games this season would be by all accounts much more important going forward.

Clemson isn’t unbeatable. They’ve dropped an ACC game most years during their run. If we manage to beat them and UNC beats them, we go to the ACCG even if we drop two. If UNC and another team beats Clemson, we go even if our only loss is to Clemson. Hell yeah I’m rooting for UNC next week.

I'd root for some other teams to beat Clemson, just not *uNC next week.

If they beat Clemson, they will never shut up about it. Our win will be an aberration. Then if we get smacked in Death Valley, it will be even worse dealing with 'hole fans.

App doing what we should’ve done vs those bastards until we fell asleep at the wheel.

I'll feel much better about rooting for UNC against Clemson if they've lost to Wake and App.

I don't think UNC beating Clemson is a concern. They might find 5 wins this year.

The UNC game easily could turn out to be our worst performance of the season. It is so far.

The best thing about it is once Clemson is up 14-0, you can just sit back and laugh.

Looks like UNC had a hard time getting motivated for a game vs this culture-less football program as well.

If only UNC could find an opponent worthy enough...a catalyst for motivation.

Well Clemson is going to Crapel Hill next week so..........maybe they have enough culture for Dorn.

No. No. Wait. Wait.
The UNC - Clemson game next week is a preview of the ACC championship game isn’t it? Isn’t t it?

Of course it is, remember UNC is 1-0 in the conference, so they are on pace.
