Medicare = a wealth redistribution program (in this case from younger workers to retired senior citizens) in which senior citizens receive, at government expense, free or inexpensive healthcare, including prescription drugs. Yet Republicans constantly frighten older voters by telling them that the Democrats (who created Medicare, despite vigorous GOP opposition) will take it away due to "socialism." We're truly living in Alice-in-Wonderland times.
