Would you keep patronizing a restaurant that serves you shit sandwiches or would you ask them to earn your patronage by providing quality food?

What you fail to understand and recognize is that the majority of posters here are true diehards. They wouldn’t still be posting on a Wake message board otherwise. The death of our basketball program was completely avoidable and unnecessary. The people who murdered the program were making millions of dollars to do so.

Do you understand why supporters of Wake basketball would have a problem with these people?

So you're more concerned with how a message board thread title can negatively affect a recruit than how our historically bad on-court performance for an entire DECADE can negatively affect a recruit? Forget that we haven't been remotely relevant in 11 years, somebody dropped an F-bomb on a message board thread - there go the recruits. I guess that makes perfect sense along with your thought that buildings are more important for recruiting than winning.

People need to feel important. When you look at the people who consistently make this awful argument about message boards, it all becomes clear.

WRONG. My Wake friends and I don't even talk about basketball anymore. I've been to one game in the last 3 years. My Dad lives in W-S and gave up his season tkts that he's had since he moved from NY in '97. You are full of crap.

I am ashamed of my alma mater for letting this happen. I will not contribute another cent to them until this mistake is righted. Wellman destroyed not only his own legacy, but he also single handily laid waste to the school's flagship athletic program, the one with the richest and most storied history that was once a shared source of pride of most of us who attended this wonderful university.

So you can stop now unless you have something more compelling or actually accurate to add.

So now that you see that attendance has suffered (pretty severely) over the last few years Chris, does that impact any of your positions regarding Wake fans will continue to stick around for further futility?

In another episode of "That's so Wake Forest" big time WFU donors continue to pump millions of dollars into a losing basketball program that seems to get worse as donations increase.
