Do folks in other countries have to get shots before they come to America? Are our mosquitoes just like less poisonous than theirs?
 
probably just the same vaccines we get, like Tdap, MMR, hepatitis, meningitis, etc.?

but frankly we are losing the war of mosquitoes and it's something we're looking into very strongly and folks
 
Townie I hope your shot doesn't hurt and that it doesn't give you poops. Never had a shot give me poops before. Makes me not really want to go to India. I saw Slumdog Millionaire though and Ricky Tikki Tavi, so I don't feel a need. Been there, done that.

my one time using malaria pills was nuts -- terrifying wild-ass dreams every time I took it
 
honestly i can deal with the poops

i don't want the hallucinations or insane dreams
 
do you like film a bunch of quick things and edit them all together on the app? how long does it take to make one?

also the typhoid meds are gross too

i just finished reading a book by the guy who wrote THE HOT ZONE and it was all about smallpox, idk if you guys know this but smallpox is fucked up
 
There's really not a good pox. Whenever I hear "pox" I just know it's going to be bad.
 
i'll spoil a bit of the book to you by saying they worked reeeeeeeeeeally hard to infect some monkeys with smallpox even though monkeys aren't naturally affected by smallpox much like how humans don't get sick from insect pox or camelpox and in the end, it turns out if you try really, really hard, you can give a monkey smallpox and make them die. pretty shitty. like that wasn't the whole goal, but it was part of it.
