Now, as you all know, I'm not one to make rash speculations, but either blue is just ignoring the fact that he's in a mafia game or he's deliberately restricted to just making vote posts. I find neither one alignment determinative, but if he is mafia and mafia want to win like that, cool beans.

I dont have a good feel on SD3, but I could see SD3 pulling that move as maf teammates if they thought Damo had the goods on rommy. The night hit on Damo tells me that the mafia did think there was something up with Damo. So if mafia thinks Damo had info on rommy and he is tied with a teammate in SD3, wouldnt you want SD3 to make that switch to at least save the maf player that hasn't been called out?

This is the extent of WFU's posts through Day 3. Should be noted that the last one was quoting and responding to Townie re: Eagles claiming he could cause a curfew. This was around 3:30pm and then nothing from WFU for the rest of the round. So his count through the D3 deadline is 2 votes for me, 2 posts being a dick about my Avengers game (1 was also a vote for me), and then him quoting and responding to the quoted ryala post and voting for ryala (which is pretty thin).

I’d say there’s an excellent chance Rommy named one of his teammates here but it would be a 200 IQ/25 IQ move to name both. Both redwing and blue are worth keeping in mind.

I can’t resist one last shot....

Gooner isn’t modding this game, so any guess on numbers seems premature at this point.

That being said, considering people can die from the virus in addition to being hit, it wouldn’t surprise me to see a lower number of mafia and a higher number of civs.

I can think of a few other possibilities as well.

Option 4: Any time the virus or infected person quotes a post, the person they quote is infected.
Option 5: The opposite. Any time a person who is infected gets quoted, the person quoted them gets infected.
Option 6: Any night move (tracking, watching, hit, etc.) that acts on a person will infect the person.

One thing related to this that I hadn’t seen anyone mention yet was that, while we may have lost our beloved cheese from kansas, it appears that some people got cured. Therefore, there is a cure out there. Whether it’s random or targeted is an open question.

Options 4/5 aren't even reasonable and are actually kind of stupid to consider as "options". Option 6 is a possibility, but would be a stretch and also completely unable to be tracked unless and until we have a claimed role with claimed night moves over a period of time.

I’ve also thought about this. But then again, I watched Gooner ask Chatzy so many questions in dead chat last game and in my mafia chat in another game he modded. And he PMed me rhetorical questions when he was the Indy in the Covid game I was modding.

I think he just likes to hear himself talk. If I could ever bring myself to truly God mod, he and Da would get to be masons and would only be allowed to post once each day for 10 straight days.

Nah. Moved to Asia in 2012 which is why my mafia days ended. Back in the states now.

So besides the fact that WFU has just been a giant dick to me for most of this game, the ryala post and vote was super thin and his response to Townie re: Eagles claim just sits wrong with me. Seems too definitively sure that it was a real claim (but it also was a reasonable claim and there weren't many reasons to disbelieve it, so this isn't that strong). He also said he was going to go through and make some comments about some things he had noted, but really only one of his posts this evening could be reasonably considered in that category (about rommy's parting shot reads post), but speculating about rommy's list isn't necessarily the most fruitful endeavor as he obviously wrote that with deceit in mind.
