Wake basketball is finished. Just drop down to the SoCon, sell the Joel and move to Reynolds on campus because with those first two names Wake isn't doing jack shit anytime soon. Enjoy playing in front of 250 fans forever you fucking losers.
 
Someone mentioned in an earlier post like 40 pages ago that Forbes doesn’t make sense for Wake.

While I wish that wasn’t true, I have to agree with it, even if it’s considered LOWF.

Forbes could succeed at a large state school but I’ll go on record that his name will be thrown around over the years for NCAA infractions. We can’t fire a guy who has heavily relied on JUCO guys when we aren’t allowed to accept JUCO guys. Again, I wish this wasn’t my rationale but he just isn’t a “WF guy”... I hope this post she’s poorly and we get Forbes, but it just doesn’t make a ton of sense.

I'd be thrilled with one, feel pretty good about another, and devastated by the third.

with Amaker, IMO, he'd be the guy you'd hire if your coach quit and the program was in decent shape. Somebody to maintain status quo until you found your next hire. In no way do I see him as someone that could raise this program out of the depths of hell.
 
I've already convinced myself that if we hire AMAKER, it will not have been Currie's choice. Blame Hatch for everything.

Considered? Try definition of. Wake forest under hatch is clearly not interested in winning. "The wake forest way" is code for "we'll show up and shake hands after we lose but that's about it."

Why would we blame Hatch for hiring the coach that the majority of people think would be the home run hire?
 
Reflecting on previous instances when Matta was involved in important things regarding Wake, I'm not very hopeful. Good lord.

Agreed. Hatch is cancerous to our athletics as a whole.
