Recommend good stuff you've seen on Netflix streaming

Watching Into the Night now- a foreign sci-fi show that is pretty solid. Its 6 episodes that are each about 35-40 minutes so its a quick binge.

I think this is the one I put on my watch list. Isn't the dialogue dubbed though? I really wish they would just leave these in a foreign language and just subtitle it. The voice over actors are typically pretty terrible.
 
Yes, it is dubbed . We watched with subtitles too and had some laughs about how the cc didn’t always match the dubbing. We finished this in two nights... each episode ends on a cliffhanger so it was a really fun watch

lol, I'm loving it. Was expecting The OC, but instead it's treasure hunting and adventure. Lots of unnecessary tension, but very exciting so far. The whole "ferry to chapel hill" thing didn't bother me as much as the mother fucking white gloves in the archives, but that's a film trope I guess even if it goes against everything that is good in this world.

Haven't quite made it to five episodes yet, so who knows what the future holds.

Yes, it was a lot. We'd pause it every few minutes and discuss and it was great. I generally hate binge-watching and often an hour episode of tv takes me three sittings to get through. But watching straight through was great. Probably the most tv I've watched in years and years and years.

Starting watching Dark after reading these posts. 5 or 6 episodes in and enjoying it. 1 episode at a time so far. Tried the dubbing for about 15 minutes before ditching it.

We were going to try to watch this at our library because they make a trip to "our" building, but the guy couldn't figure out how to Zoom it.

That being said, I don't have a strong feeling about it and I don't know the context in the show, but we hand out white gloves to people in our reading room to look at certain stuff?

Hmmmm, I don't log too many hours in the reading room, and I'm still pretty new, so maybe we just do it for photography. I feel like I've seen us give them out for other things, but beats me man. I think we'll probs have to all be wearing gloves for the immediate future if we even have any public hours, jeez. wtf.

Anyway, I may watch this one episode of this show to see how they fictionalize my library. Maybe the people make sweet love in the stacks and solve a mystery when something falls out of a book.
 
We started watching After Life this past weekend and have enjoyed it. It's a quick watch and we just have a few more eps to go.
 
I feel like Dead to Me is a much less shitty version of Big Little Lies, which is to say binge worthy television
 
We are watching “Little Fires Everywhere” on Hulu and it’s pretty good. Halfway through.
 
big little lies season 1 was TRANSCENDENT
big little lies season 2 was meh
sharp objects was phenomenal
little fires everywhere alternated between great and unwatchable with really no in-between
dead to me season 1 was uniformly great

i am watching dead to me season 2 now

Big Little Lies sucked. Made it through the whole first season, but didn't bother with season 2. And I actually read that book (my wife enjoys the author).

Enjoyed Sharp Objects... Was actually better than I remember the book.

Don't know the others.
