Hellworld, where there aren't enough prisoners to fight California wildfires because all the prisoners are sick from a pandemic that the prison system won't protect them from.

I can't find the data he's citing. Someone in the replies linked an Atlantic article (this stat isn't in the article) that cited a Knight Foundation study (this stat isn't in the study either).
 
RJ used to always bring up the VAWA as a counter argument to criticisms of Biden’s role on the Crime Bill. This is a good thread on why that’s a problematic argument.

It really doesn't matter. AOC wants young voters to be respected regardless of their politics.

i mean, not sure what else there is to do but complain about the candidates and help other progressive voters not turn out?
 
I like when progressives bring up past actions and for some reason think people are static and cant change so therefore that's who Biden is and not someone that is/will be dragged further left by whatever platforms are decided on. Meanwhile tell me more about all those people who committed crimes in the past and should be free.
 
Biden saying he would veto Medicare for All during a pandemic, attacking Linda Sarsour, and Harris voting no on reducing military budget... These things all happened in the present. And Biden wants to increase police funding.
 
hey, i'm doing my part to get people out and vote for the candidates that are on the plate. i guess i could call and talk about how bad Biden and Harris are instead

i'm personally planning on offering rides to the polls and just driving people out to the middle of nowhere.
 
I appreciate that you are participating in some form of political organizing, but don’t pretend like it’s the only form.
