I can't find the data he's citing. Someone in the replies linked an Atlantic article (this stat isn't in the article) that cited a Knight Foundation study (this stat isn't in the study either).

Answer: Little column A, little column B. Interesting article from both perspectives but the one big takeaway is that if you view Sanders' involvement since 2015 as an attempt to pull the Democratic party left and get it to consider new and better policy goals, it has been an undeniable success.
