2020 Presidential Election: Biden v. Trump

ha my mistake, a misplaced modifier can be confusing!

also deacman cannot be trusted in these matters as he believes every right wing propaganda piece of gossip re: Ilhan Omar, but believes because of shaking Klob's hand that she wouldn't throw a stapler at his kids for fun

just saw a shitty pick-up flying 2 huge Trump flags including one that said "FUCK YOUR FEELINGS!"

couldn't be a funnier statement when Trump is the biggest snowflake around "no tough questions !" "everyone's unfair to me !"

also i haven't been an editor for several years ! and i never said i could read good !

How does the lack of strong third party candidates affect the election this year? In 2016, Trump's winning margins in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania were less than the number of votes Jill Stein received as the Green Party candidate. The Green party won't be on the ballot this year in Wisconsin or Pennsylvania so that should be a positive for Biden as those voters would be much more likely to support him than Trump.

The Libertarian polling numbers are also down this cycle compared to 2016. The bigger question in my mind is who do those voters support this year. Were they the never Trumpers of the Republican Party or the moderates who disliked Hillary?

They weren't strong in 2016 either. Jill Stein would never have gotten close to 1% had it not been for Hillary (and Vlad's bots propping her up) being the Dem nominee. And Gary What Is Aleppo Johnson was a complete space cadet, but he got close to 4% because of Trump and Clinton. I did actually kinda like Bill Weld and thought he should have been at the top of that ticket. But those 2 3rd party candidates would never have done that well but for Trump and Clinton being the other choices.

So is Texas really in play right now? Because that is awesome if true.

This shit worries me. That's what happened in 2016...Hillary tried to run up the EC score in and campaigned in places like Georgia and neglected MI, PA and WI. Just get to 270 in the EC and 51 in the Senate.

"Klubuchar" feels like a Freudian slip of the fingers

I mean Trump is going to GA this weekend. Not TX tho.

I'm far from alone in our district in people who do not trust Ilhan Omar. It's why she faced a real primary challenge here and didn't get the endorsement of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, in a district where if you get the nomination you win the general.

The numbers are saying TX is in play, as hard as that is to believe, and early voting in urban and suburban areas is WAY up. I'm not banking on TX by any means, and neither is the party - they're in states like WI and NC, not TX. Biden isn't making the same mistakes Clinton did, and his team is concentrating on the correct places. That said, I would not be astonished if Biden and/or Hegar were able to pull off the upset in TX. I look at TX as gravy.

Isn't Trump doing like 12 rallies in PA the next several days? Thought I read that from Kristin Collins.

i only know of 6 including three this week. He lands at a small airport, does a "rally" with a video to fervent supporters and then heads to the next small airport

ha that's not why she got primaried, but she won by 20% anyway

He also confusingly opened a parenthetical statement with an n dash and then didn't close it.

idk why he listed a half dozen women by name but just gave the michigan gov a title?

anyway still bad reading on my part

The Collins tweet was sort of unclear but suggested he was going to do 14 rallies over 3 days in PA. Could have meant some of those rallies will be in other states too. Doesn't make sense he'd only focus on PA unless he's hell bent certain he can win other states needed to win.

well either way your point about their being no sexism in politics because sarah palin was a governor is a bad one
