Official Election Month Thread: COUP falls short, nothing to see here

I read somewhere that Fulton County may not announce its final vote totals until sometime this afternoon. If that's correct we may still have a long wait today for anything final in GA.

Fox News saying Wisconsin and Michigan both have a 93% chance of going to Biden. 70% chance for Nevada. If that holds, Biden wins.
 
Vegas odds substantially towards Biden now.
 
Here in Guilford county, we just managed to pull the Oh-So-American maneuver of simultaneously approving a $300,000,000 school bond and rejecting a small sales tax increase meant to help pay for that bond, both by very large margins. 'Murica: we want all the things, but don't tax us to pay for any of it!

If 2024 looks remotely tight I will be watching from a casino that allows live action on the election because my amateur knowledge of the electoral college told me that Trump was still a decent underdog even though he was up to -600

It got higher than that at one point. I swear it ran to -800 before coming back down, but I was crosseyed and half asleep so maybe not.
 
I'm beginning to think Americans are just fascinated by fire. 3000 die on 9/11, it runs our politics for at least 5 years. 200000 die from a preventable pandemic, some voters will tell you they are more worried about an Applebee's getting torched.
 
Regardless of the outcome, can we finally put the sanctimonious bullshit about Republicans running away from trump as soon as he’s done being president? They. Love. The. Guy. He is the Republican Party.

I think Trump will win PA, but Biden will take GA. Still nearly half a million votes unaccounted for in the Atlanta metro area.
 
man, i still can't process all this.

- looks like Joe will pull it off. btw (and i might get struck by lightning for saying this) but Fox News hasn't been carrying water for Trump and is generally calling it straight (and i found their little interactive map way better than CNNs). that'll help with public perception on this whole thing
- the senate was a huge flop. GA seats will have a billion dollars, but i'm sure pubs will scare everyone into saying that Dems will pack courts, make PR and DC states, raise Lenin from the dead, etc if they et a majority. I'd be very surprised it that works out

i think i read that too - and the absentees have been running in that range for him.
