Still amazed that some here are pissed off that we got rid of the most evil POTUS in US history because they didn't get a radically LW person who could never have won this election they demanded.

The far left and the far right are equally as dogmatic and unwelcoming. You never get close to what you want by fighting the people who mostly agree with you. You don't get closer to what you want by declaring the war on people who won't 100% goosestep to your will.

His kids will be pardoned as will Rudy, Flynn, Manafort and who else?
 
No one "important" has been charged yet. Don't thi k you can give a pardon upfront. I won't like it but he'll pardon his friends going out the door. The important figures will be charged after he's out and once the biden administration is cooperating with investigations.

Yes, pardons for crimes can be given prior to charges being brought. However, Trump can't issue pardons for state crimes.
 
I didnā€™t think you can pardon someone without charges...a pardon is like an admission of guilt, but if no charges what are they admitting guilt of?
 
If Dems don't win both runoffs in GA, he should offer some Cabinet position to one of the following - Pat Toomey, Susan Collins, Richard Burr or Ron Johnson. WTF???

Each of those people are in states with Dem governors. They can be replaced and give Dems control of the Senate. Cabinet Secretaries act on behalf of POTUS and can be removed immediately for not doing so.

It put Republicans on the hot seat. They can't say Biden isn't reaching out to Republicans. They won't be able to say he isn't listening to Republicans.

It's amazing how Trump supporters praise him for not being "politically correct" and for always telling it like it is, yet they are the first to cry about when others do the same.

Did Trump's relentless and disgusting attacks on John McCain cost him AZ? McCain was revered and beloved in the state. The vote was close enough that it could have been a factor.

Trump's last visit to PA was in Erie. He told the freezing throngs that he would never be in Erie if not for a close election. What a schmuck!

According to NBC' Supreme Court Reporter, Pete Williams, from the questions asked at the hearing today, it looks like killing ACA in its entirety is unlikely. Roberts and, shockingly, Kavanaugh asked questions that strongly supported allowing ACA to stand. Even Alito asked questions and made statements that made it appear he might side with keeping ACA by saying Congress had the chance to void the entire law but chose not to do that.

I am incredibly, pleasantly surprised and hopeful. Pete Williams seemed to interpret this morning's proceedings very positively.
