DC allows transport of fire arms by persons "passing through" who can legally possess them in any state under the Federal Firearms Owners Protection Act. Firearms need to be unloaded and in a hard shell locked container that cannot be reached during transport.

This is similar to how firearms can be legally transported on passenger aircraft in checked baggage.
 
I’m sure that’s exactly how these responsible gun owner members of Congress do it

It's 100%. There is no "need" for anyone to carry a gun on the floor of the House of Representative.
 
I've read that in the years leading up to the Civil War members of Congress (usually Southerners) would sometimes bring knives and pistols into the Capitol building and use them to threaten anti-slavery members. Not exactly a good precedent, given what happened not long afterwards.

The most desperate need for a gun actually happened. Between members of Congress, Capitol Police, Metro Police, Secret Service, and whoever else was there, only one gun was fired.

I just wish someone would get these people on camera and ask them if they didn’t use their gun on Jan 6, why they think they would ever need it.
 
Shame on Sunday shows for letting Mark Meadows and Ron Johnson spew lies.

And if he's not convicted by Senate jurors who were ALL witnesses to the magats' riot upon the Capitol to delay the lawful counting of the electoral college votes then there better be political consequence for those pubs voting to acquit. :mad:
