Start charging Members with DC crimes for carrying guns. That will get the yahoos to stop.
 
People who carry guns are mostly lame. A member of Congress’s job does not necessitate it. I’d wager 95-98% of people who carry do not need to do so other than to feel like a big strong person.

They are allowed to carry on the federal property. They are not allowed to carry in DC. There was an issue with the Colorado Congresswoman who wanted to carry in DC. The DC Attorney's office had a little chat with her about DC gun laws and the no reciprocity between DC and states with respect to carrying handguns in DC.

How do they get their firearms to federal property in DC without carrying in DC?
