The other day we were watching college basketball and my five year old, who is a complete front runner and always vocally cheers for whichever team has the most points, said “Go Tar Heels! Go Tar Heels!”

So I can kind of relate to how you felt when that happened.
 
It's ok to ground a 5 year old as a corrective measure.

At this point does anyone own a Tesla that *hasn’t* been recalled? Jeezuz. Cool thing about the Toyota Prius is that it doesn’t spontaneously combust and it’s computer doesn’t command it to roll through stop signs. You’d think Ayn Rand could maybe prioritize keeping Teslas on the road and not on fire before putting video game systems in them?

Hate to be the one defending CNN but getting fired for having a consensual relationship with a coworker is fucking weak.

These two comments seem disconnected from each other unless you're saying Jeff Rucker and CNN with basic disclosure policies = the left.

Obviously the CEO of an organization and someone else employed in that organization should disclose their relationship. That's basic common sense. What I'm wondering is why they didn't do it.

Eh, he resigned and wasn’t fired. Also the issue was not the relationship, but the non-disclosure. I think he mainly resigned to take the heat off of her. She is staying in her job.

Are you questioning why the CEO never disclosed a multi-year affair with a subordinate who was also EVP of the organization? Seriously???
